Wimed, a success story since 1976

For over 40 years, Wimed, a division of the Italian Movi Group, has been caring for the well-being of people with motor disabilities and their caregivers. We provide solutions for home and hospital care designed to ensure comfort, safety, and dignity at every stage of life. We work with passion alongside retailers, healthcare facilities, and professional operators, offering a comprehensive range of assistive devices: inpatient beds, manual and electronic wheelchairs, scooters, liftchairs, bathroom and walking aids. Our goal is to make everyday life easier for people in situations of fragility by delivering devices that meet the highest standards of quality and reliability, continuing to serve as a trusted point of reference in the Home Care sector.

1976

Wimed is founded as a division of Movi dedicated to the distribution of orthopedic and medical aids.

1990

Wimed establishes a nationwide network of sales agents, laying the foundations for long-term, loyal relationships with its customers.

2005

The start of the design, development, and launch of Wimed brand products. This marks a turning point, as the brand strengthens and consolidates its identity in the market.

2025

Today, Wimed is a recognized and trusted brand, with a strong presence throughout Italy and a growing footprint in international markets.
